Silent Hill fans can finally celebrate as the series has finally returned from the dead. Long had they hoped that the series would get the Resident Evil 2 Remake treatment, if not a new game in the series, but things turned out as they got both in the span of two years. The Silent Hill 2 remake was well received by new and veteran fans, but it looks like Silent Hill f may do even better.

Earlier today, Konami announced that Silent Hill f had sold one million copies as of September 26, that's just a day after launch. To understand just how great those numbers are, Silent Hill 2 remake reached one million copies sold in three days after launch. While those aren't meteoric numbers. It's definitely a great sign for the series' future.

This number includes digital and physical copies across all platforms. While Silent Hill f is seeing some great numbers, the game itself isn't without some issues. Fans across platforms have been complaining about its performance, with most blaming it on Unreal Engine 5. It's among many recent Unreal Engine games that have been facing performance issues.
