It looks like the only thing scarier than Silent Hill f itself right now is how quickly the latest mainline addition to Konami’s old horror series is selling out.
According to a Japanese press release and a recent post on X, Konami stated that the game was originally released on September 25 and achieved the sales milestone of 1 million copies sold in a single day, encompassing both physical copies and digital media shipments.
In the same document, the publisher also traced a quick comparison to the Silent Hill 2 Remake, noting that Silent Hill f’s sales are not only happening rather fast in all regions, but surpassing the remake’s impressive numbers registered last year.
“The remake of SILENT HILL 2, released last year, surpassed one million units shipped worldwide within a week of its release, but SILENT HILL f is growing in shipments at an even faster pace in each region, including Japan. As the latest installment in the series, it has been met with a great response both at home and abroad”, it says.
