Battlefield 6 hasn't even been released yet, but it seems that players can already look forward to a bunch of free content – including new maps, guns, and even modes – less than two weeks after launch.
In a recent post on the official Battlefield Twitter/X account, it was announced that a start date has been set for Season 1 of the upcoming first-person shooter: October 28, 2025.
It was also detailed that all of its content will be divided into three phases, meaning that content drops will happen on three different dates. And yes, they’re all going to be completely free of charge.

Its first phase begins exactly on October 28 and has been titled “Rogue Ops”, being the one that is going to add most of the awaited content, such as Blackwell Fields (a war scenario in oil extraction fields) as a brand-new map, and Strikepoint as a mode focused more on tactical action.
