Sony has kicked off October by releasing new system updates for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, which are now available to download for all users worldwide. Unfortunately, just like many of the consoles' previous updates, Sony hasn't made any significant changes, as the PlayStation 5's 25.06-12.02.00 update and the PlayStation 4's 13.02 patch are once again focused solely on "security fixes."

With AAA titles such as the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 still supporting the PlayStation 4 on release, it's no surprise that Sony continues to ensure that the console remains safe and playable for its users around the world.
