The minds behind SOMA and Amnesia have been cooking something up. We don't even have an official name for the project yet, but many fans of the studio have become intimately familiar with one possible option: Hotel Samsara.
Frictional Games updated SOMA recently. The contents within led people down the rabbit hole of an ARG that, in the end, guided its players towards a special youtube video.
That video is now publicly viewable for anyone to see, and simply titles itself 'Frictional_Next_Project.mp4'.
This apparent 'Hotel Samsara' also has a website that, for many, was the main starting line for the ARG. You can view it yourself here, if that teaser leaves you guessing.
"Thank you so much for taking part in this "little" journey we've all taken together," the video's description reads. "We really wanted to try and create something fun to show you a bit of what we've been working on."
It's worth noting that the video is actually a collaboration between Frictional Games and Kepler Interactive, the publishers of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Pacific Drive.
