Every Thursday, Amazon makes games available to claim for Prime subscribers at no additional charge, revealing which games it will be giving away throughout the month ahead of time. Since a new month has begun, Amazon has revealed what it has in store for Prime subscribers this October, and it's a big one for Fallout fans.
That's because both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas will be available to claim later this month. The first of Prime Gaming's October freebies - DragonStrike and Tormented Souls - are available right now, though. All you need is an active Amazon Prime subscription to claim, play, and keep them forever.
Following in their footsteps on Thursday, October 9, will be the two biggest games dropping this month aside from the Fallout headliners. Another two-game drop which will add XCOM 2 and Vampire: The Masquerade - Reckoning of New York to October's Prime Gaming haul. Likely a tactic by Vampire: The Masquerade studio Paradox to pull in a few more fans before its sequel drops 12 days later on October 21.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will not be free through Prime Gaming. The service is good, but it's not that good....
