Pokemon TCG Pocket turns one this month, and to celebrate, the game will be getting a new expansion that shines the spotlight on Mega Evolutions. We have now been given an official look at that upcoming expansion, confirming it will be the first to feature three booster packs since the set the game launched with.
If the Deluxe Pack: ex expansion has been getting you down, don't worry. The confusing set that was supposed to give us the opportunity to fill in gaps in our collection will be gone forever come October 30. That's presumably when Pocket's Mega Evolution expansion will drop, as that's the game's first anniversary.
Similar to the soft reveal of the Deluxe Pack, a first look at the Mega Evolution expansion has been shared by one of Pocket's non-English sites (thanks, UniteVids). Its Japanese site shared how the packs will look in-game, revealing that there will be three to choose from each time you open a pack. This is the first expansion to include three booster packs since Genetic Apex, which was the Kanto-focused set the game launched with.
