Hollow Knight: Silksong is already a pretty tough game - the long runbacks and gruellingly punishing platform segments were a hot topic in the first couple of weeks of its release, but as is the case with every difficult game, people find ways to push that challenge to its limits. And one player might've found the ultimate way to do that in Silksong.
u/Thhaki found that, if you run out of Flea Brew (which boosts your movement and attack speed), you can hurl the bottle at enemies for a tiny slither of damage. They themselves didn't contort this fun little discovery into a challenge run, but the comments were quick to debate the logistics of an all-Flea-Brew playthrough, and just the thought is unnerving.
There are a couple of hurdles you'd have to overcome here; the biggest is that you only have one bottle, and replacing it costs ten shards. u/Apart-Pain2196 suggested using the Architect Crest, which allows you to spend silk to create new tools from shell shards away from the bench, which u/Irdes said would work in tandem with the Druid's Eye, which converts damage into silk.
