While the reception for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been relatively positive among critics since the game's release last week, player reviews have started to paint a very different picture. Fans appear to be divided about whether the game is incredible, absolutely awful, or if it's a little mid.

According to Metacritic, Pokémon Legends: Z-A only has just a 4.5 user score out of 10, with the overall sentiment being "Generally Unfavorable." Compared to the Generally Favorable Critic Review score, players are much more uncertain about everything from the game mechanics, art and graphic design, performance, and more.

While critical reception for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been largely positive, with Screen Rant's review score noting it could be "one of the best entries yet" in the series, player feedback paints a slightly different picture of what the community thinks.
