Ninja Gaiden 4 Joins Ragebound As One Of The Best Reviewed In The Series

Ninja Gaiden 4 is almost upon us, bringing Ryu Hayabusa back from an extended break and newcomer Yakumo into the fold as well. It's been a pretty long time coming too, as over a decade has passed since the last mainline Ninja Gaiden game graced our consoles. Thankfully, it appears the long break hasn't diminished the quality of the series, as judging from early reviews, Ninja Gaiden is back with a bang.

At the time of writing, Ninja Gaiden 4 is currently sitting at a very respectable 82 on Metacritic, putting it up there with some of the best in the series. While not quite as groundbreaking as the most highly regarded titles — those being Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black — it does rank among the likes of Ninja Gaiden 2, Sigma 2, Black 2, and the excellent Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound which released earlier this year.
