Battlefield 6 has not only been one of the biggest launches of the year, but is easily the most successful launches in the series. In just a week, it outsold more than half of the entire series, and also pushed Steam to reach its highest ever number of online users. The team at Dice must be absolutely loving how the game has been received.
Before being shut down, Ridgeline Games was a support studio that started the work on the Battlefield 6 campaign. It laid the foundation for the final campaign for over a year and a half, making its contribution quite significant. However, Ridgeline's former creative director, Marcus Lehto, has called out Battlefield 6 for not crediting the studio properly and even omitting the names of some devs.
In a LinkedIn post spotted by GamesRadar, Letho said that he was disappointed by how the former studio was credited in the game, despite putting in a lot of passion and hard work. He also shared an image of the studio's entire staff list, and even pointed out which of the devs' names were missing completely from Battlefield 6's credits.
