Marvel Rivals has been making quite the headlines lately, and the most recent reason for it is that, a few days ago, the developers surprised fans by announcing the game’s first-ever PvE mode, which comes with a nice twist no one saw coming: a crossover with Marvel Animation’s Marvel Zombies.
Just in time for Halloween, the event will start on October 23rd and will introduce a brand-new way to play, letting players face off against hordes of infected heroes and villains in a darker, survival-driven experience (that seems to really stand apart from the usual PvP chaos).
However, despite the initial excitement around the reveal, some fans were left scratching their heads when they noticed that only five of the 43 playable characters would be available in the new mode. But now, NetEase has finally spoken about it.
