Ubisoft Is About To Slash The Amount Of Free Currency You Can Earn From Projects In Assassin's Creed

Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of the rare single-player titles that go hard on in-game purchases and skins. There are multiple stores, the Helix Store and the Exchange, and multiple currencies that can be earned in different ways.

Unfortunately, it appears that one of the currencies is about to become significantly more challenging to attain, as the Keys available from the Infinite Reward tier of projects will soon be cut by 75 percent.

Helix Credits are the simplest of Shadows' two currencies; you pop in your credit card details, spend your hard-earned cash, and watch the Credits roll in. These can then be spent on skins and items in the Helix Store. Animus Keys are a little different. These keys can be earned by completing objectives scattered around the world, as well as by completing projects (Assassin's Creed's version of a battle pass) via the Animus. Once players have completed a specific project, they can unlock the Infinite Reward tier, which gives them the ability to earn additional keys.

Naturally, earning the keys requires more work, and, unfortunately, the marketplace where they can be spent is a little more stingy.
