It’s been two years since Pikmin 4 first sprouted on the Nintendo Switch, yet it seems that Nintendo hasn’t forgotten (thank God!) its little plant-like strategy gem.
With a major update arriving this November, fresh content and features are on the way, proving that the Rescue Corps still has plenty of flower power left – and also that it will have some of the most adorable mechanics you have ever seen in a video game.
In an Update Overview video released on YouTube, Nintendo has just announced that Pikmin 4 will receive a brand-new free update in November. Sadly, we still don’t have the exact date, but it will introduce three major mechanics that you can already look forward to.

For starters, it will add a Field Camera, which basically functions as a Photo Mode – and the most adorable one you will ever see. You can use it at any time to snap in-game photos, adjusting the angle and customizing it with colorful, fun stamps and frames.
