One of the main things that fans wanted from Battlefield 6 was grounded skins, based on actual military uniforms. The community has been vary of the game skewing towards the Call of Duty strategy of introducing unrealistic and even silly skins. In fact, the devs went out of their way to say that there will only be grounded skins in Battlefield 6, at least for a while.
With the season one trailer for the game dropping yesterday, we've learnt that "a while" meant 18 days. Among the new weapons, skins, modes, and maps, fans have spotted a bright blue skin for one of the classes that doesn't look grounded at all. While this was one among several skins that were revealed, Battlefield 6 fans think it's a sign of what to come.
The skin in question is the Wicked Grin variant of the default NATO assault outfit. It features bright blue camo from head to toe, which wouldn't camouflage you in any biome, along with a fanged grin on the face mask. It goes without saying that this does not look like the grounded skins that Dice promised before launch.
As you'd expect, the community has been tearing into it...
