It has already been almost a year since the launch of Pokemon TCG Pocket. The virtual card collecting game turns one on October 30, and The Pokemon Company has revealed what it has planned to mark the occasion, including the reveal of its three-booster pack Mega Evolution expansion, Mega Rising.
As expected, the new set will be the first Pocket expansion since Genetic Apex, the set it launched with, to include three booster packs. The stars of those booster packs Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Altaria. That likely means each of them will have their own Crown Rares as part of the set.
The expansion will be released on October 30, 2025, which will be exactly one year since Pocket's launch. The trailer, which you can check out below, also includes some of the other cards that will be a part of the set, including Mega Pinsir, Mega Absol, and Mega Ampharos. Worth noting that, once this set is released, the limited edition Deluxe ex booster pack will no longer be available.
