We've known that Battlefield 6 would be getting its own battle royale mode at some point; we just didn't know when. EA and Dice are still being coy about revealing exactly when Battlefield BR will drop, but according to a usually reliable insider, it's potentially less than a week away.
That's according to Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming. Henderson first made the claim that a battle royale mode that will accompany Battlefield 6 will be released on October 28 on Thursday, pointing to code discovered in a recent datamine. However, the insider has now corroborated the information discovered in that datamine, claiming they can independently confirm the new mode will be here by Tuesday.
These are leaks, of course, so as always, take them with a grain of salt. Even though Henderson is usually pretty reliable, particularly when it comes to Battlefield information, there's always a chance plans could change. That said, not only is the leaked release date for the battle royale mode only four days away, but it also coincides with the start date for Battlefield 6 season one.
All of that together makes it seem incredibly likely that, come Tuesday, whether you have picked up a copy...
