You might have already heard, but if you haven't, here's the deal. AP News caught up with Adam Driver, who played Ben Solo, AKA Kylo Ren, from 2015 through 2019 in Star Wars' big sequel trilogy. The interview was about far more than just A Galaxy Far, Far Away, but it sported a surprising revelation concerning what could have been a Kylo-centric continuation: Lucasfilm had plans for a Driver-led sequel, but it never came to fruition.

In the wake of this - forgive me - disturbance in the Force, some Star Wars fans have gotten loud about their hopes that such a film might one day come to pass despite Disney's decision to pass on the unannounced project. Aerial ambitions ensued.

It's woefully rare these days to see a sizable number of Star Wars diehards united in common positive purpose. Don't mistake this for a slant against the overarching fandom; there are millions of benevolent lightsaber-enthusiastic fans out there. But we sure do hear from the engagement-obsessed negativity-fueling folks on a routine basis, and frankly, it's not as though there aren't some valid reasons to be kind of glum about Disney's handling of George Lucas' beloved franchise.
