Former Microsoft Exec Blasts Halo Studios Team For Wearing PlayStation Gear

It took all of 24 hours for there to finally be drama surrounding Friday's reveal that the next Halo game from Halo Studios, the rebranded development team that was once known as 343 Industries, a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved dubbed Campaign Evolved, a single-player-only experience that will bring the first-person shooter to PlayStation for the first time.

The drama?

Well, a member of Halo Studios was seen on stream at Halo World Championships wearing a T-shirt with PlayStation's logo.

The executive?

Mike Ybarra, who was formerly the president of Blizzard and an executive at Microsoft, to boot.

Taking to Twitter, Ybarra noted that while he is "happy" that Halo is on PlayStation and Steam, that the team shouldn't have anyone wearing a PlayStation shirt on the day the announcement was made.

"That just rubs it in the face of loyal Xbox fans too much. How you treat players will last a lifetime."

The incident in question shows a member of the Halo Studios team wearing a PS logo shirt with a jacket over it, hardly the most recognizable thing and certainly not the most egregious thing ever, either.
