Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the year's best games by far, and earlier this month, developer Sandfall Interactive announced that it's going to get even better. We don't know when it's coming, but Sandfall revealed that it's currently working on a new update for Expedition 33 that will add a whole new area that will include some late-game boss fights that will aim to really test players and their skills.
Understandably, this had fans theorizing about what foe could possibly rival the likes of Simon as an enemy powerful enough to challenge late-game players that have already minmaxed the game so much that they're nuking bosses left and right. Well, we could have been given a tease by Clair Obscur's official Twitter account, and if it's a sign of things to come, we could be in for a very whooo time indeed.
At the time of writing, Clair Obscur's Twitter account has a rather ominous profile picture, which includes a silhouette of the ever-lovable wine bag Esquie on a red background. However, this isn't the Esquie we know and love, as instead of a goofy little face, he's rocking a set of glowing red eyes....
