You Don’t Actually Need To Complete Every Research Task For Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Shiny Charm

The Shiny Charm has never been particularly easy to achieve in any Pokemon game. Typically, up to this point, to get the elusive item, you'll need to complete any given game's Pokedex, aside from Legends: Arceus, which requires you to hit research level 10 for every Pokemon in the Dex. It's all part of the grind.

Legends: Z-A's Shiny Charm has come under a bit of fire since the game released, though, as it's seen as harder to get than any of its predecessors. Alongside completing the full Kalos Dex, players have to fulfill a myriad of other tasks, which include grinding their way to 1,000 battle wins.

Thankfully, there is a small reprieve. While you'll definitely need to win 1,000 battles to get the Shiny Charm, you can skip a few of the other research tasks and still achieve the illustrious object.
