Alienware Opens Portal In New York City For Halloween

Halloween week has kicked off in New York City, and it has claimed its first victim: the Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. The computer builders at Alienware have decided to shake things up by assembling The Artifact, an interactive, spaceship-inspired experience.

Alienware titled the experience 'Step Inside the Artifact', a sci-fi event that connects visitors to players across the world through Twitch, and both sides will have to work together to beat the event. If you want something a little more tangible, Alienware has also announced that winners will be randomly picked to receive prizes from the brand.

The New York Artifact

The event's lore says the artifact is drifting through time and space in search of those who can stabilize it. I can only hope it does not come across STALKER fans, because they're more likely to throw bolts around it and try to sell the artifact to Sidorovich. Maybe that's why it appeared in New York City instead of Pripyat.
