Peter Molyneux Says Masters Of Albion Will Be His Last Game, And His "Redemption"

Peter Molyneux is a divisive figure within the gaming industry. While he worked on cult classic games like Black & White and the Fable trilogy, he is best remembered for over-promising on his projects, whether that be a feature that never makes it into the game, or whatever happened with Project Milo for the Xbox Kinect.

Molyneux hasn't released anything that's set the world on fire quite like Fable ever since he left Lionhead in 2012. He has his own studio, 22cans, and hasn't exactly shied from the limelight (or controversy), but he is still known as the guy who said stuff about Fable, which never quite panned out.

Now, Molyneux is looking to turn that around. Speaking with Edge Magazine (thanks, Time Extension), Molyneux says that his next game, Masters of Albion, will be his "redemption" for past errors - and also the last game he launches.

"I don't know if it's going to work," Molyneux admits, discussing Masters of Albion. "It's so important to me, this game, because to a certain extent it's about redemption.
