EA and DICE have officially announced something called Battlefield Redsec, and the game, which is almost certainly a Warzone-esque battle royale, will be launching alongside its gameplay trailer tomorrow.
As revealed in an official trailer countdown, Battlefield Redsec will be free-to-play for everyone, and it'll be released tomorrow. The trailer itself will go live at 8am Pacific, which is presumably when Redsec itself will arrive as well.
Redsec's existence was previously leaked by Call of Duty and Battlefield leaker ModernWarzone, who confirmed on Friday that the game would launch on October 28th and that it would be shadowdropped on that day as well, with relatively little hype. That has indeed turned out to be the case.
The Redsec of the title is short for Redacted Sector, which could well be a reference to the map on which the game will be taking place. How it'll tie into Battlefield 6 and what else we can expect from it is unclear right now, but we'll learn more tomorrow when the game...er, launches.
