The Mario Collection Money Can No Longer Buy Just Got Yet Another Update

Various Nintendo Switch games have been receiving updates to make them look and run better on the Nintendo Switch 2 since the current-gen console launched. Super Mario 3D All-Stars getting that treatment was a little surprising, though, and now Nintendo has rolled out yet another update for a collection that you haven't been able to buy the entire time the Switch 2 has existed.

The 1.1.4 update for 3D All-Stars is actually the third Switch 2-specific update the collection has received. The latest patch for the game, which is only available on Nintendo's latest console, was rolled out this morning and is available right now. The finer details regarding what exactly about the game has been fixed or improved, however, remain a mystery.

Mario 3D All-Stars' 1.1.4 patch notes are pretty much identical to the two sets of patch notes to have come before it. "Several issues have been addressed to improve gameplay on Nintendo Switch 2. The software update is required to play on Nintendo Switch 2." No mention of what those issues might have been, but hey, if you played the collection on Switch 2 and ever encountered a problem, that problem...
