The Pocket team shared an update about the Advance Ticket on Wednesday morning, finally confirming what exactly its purpose will be. Turns out your Advance Ticket is effectively a lottery ticket. A draw will be held to celebrate Pocket turning one, and there will be a lot of pack hourglasses up for grabs.
That all sounds like good news so far for those of us who were given an Advance Ticket during Pocket's first few months. The tickets were automatically added to your inventory if you started playing Pocket during its first three months. I was certainly pretty excited when I saw what's up for grabs if you have one, but then I read the fine print.
