Rocket League's Third Season has Begun

Season 3 of Rocket League has begun. 

On the Rocket League website, it was announced that Season 3 of Rocket League has begun. The Season starts today, April 7th. The Season will continue until August 11th. With the Season comes a new Rocket Pass Premium. Those who purchase the Rocket Pass Premium will get immediate access to a new car, the Tyranno. They will also get additional weekly and Season challenges, as well as access to the pro tiers beyond tier 70. All players will be able to earn free rewards, including the Mechwing Decal (Peregrine TT), Roskilde Wheels, and the Jester Topper. 

The third Season of Rocket League will include a partnership with both NASCAR and Formula 1. There will be bundles for both these franchises, bringing with them cars based off of the sports. The NASCAR bundle will release in early May, while the Formula 1 bundle will release in mid-May. Gamers will also be able to play on the newly redesigned DFH Stadium (Circuit). The classic arena has been outfitted with a track, as well as the excitement that one would find during a NASCAR race. The Arena will be added to the Casual and Competitive Playlists, and will be available for Private Matches and Freeplay. 

During Season 3, Rocket League players will be able to take on weekly and and Seasonal challenges in order to unlock customization items for free. New items have been added to the competitive tournament rewards, while a new Competitive Season begins. Developer Psyonix also released the patch notes for the Season 3 update. Rocket League is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is free-to-play.
