Now that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is officially out, Mega Evolutions are back on the minds of Pokemon fans. Because just when you thought Game Freak, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company ran out of ideas, they pulled deep within their bag to revive the ever controversial Mega Evolution line.
That said, outside of how hideous and nightmare-inducing Mega Starmie is, gamers seem to be enjoying Mega Evolutions, so one player decided to ask a simple question — Should Megas be permanent moving forward?
"Personally, I’d absolutely love it, but I’m wondering what everyone else’s opinion would be," NothingIsBliss139789 wrote in their post on Reddit. Turns out, a lot of Pokemon fans are right there with them.
"Mega evolution is the coolest battle gimmick," one user matter-of-factly wrote. "It should've never been removed," another gamer wrote.
For what it's worth, the feature never technically made an official exit as Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee all had it, plus it even made an appearance in Pokken Tournament. They're just now back at the forefront.
