20 Percent Of Secret Level's Episodes Are Now From Dead Games

I wouldn't say that Secret Level is cursed, but Concord was released and delisted before its episode had even aired. And now, New World is ceasing development despite its growing popularity, as Amazon Game Studios faces major cuts.

It leaves Secret World in an awkward spot, with 3 out of its 15 episodes now featuring dead games or series, slowly turning what was originally a celebratory anthology (or, more realistically, an advertising reel) into a graveyard.

Concord wasn't the only unreleased game featured: we still have yet to see how Exodus fares.

If you're wondering what that third game is, New World and Concord are joining the oft-forgotten Unreal Tournament in this digital cemetery, as Epic Games cancelled a sequel in 2017 to shift focus to Fortnite. Now that the battle royale practically prints money, it's hard to imagine a return to the studio's defining FPS classic.

So, that means the following three Secret Level episodes are now dedicated to dead games or series:

That's 20 percent of the first season. And no, we're not counting any games that haven't had sequels, i.e. Spelunky and Sifu, since they weren't cancelled or shut down. The devs just moved on.
