Keanu Reeves wants back in. He loved his time as Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077, which officially has a sequel in development, and he wants nothing less than to return for another collaboration with CDPR. Given Cyberpunk 2077's own tale, one might think that means a different role; in fact, it's Silverhand himself that Reeves has perpetual eyes for.
Now, Keanu has a big-time ally in Mike Pondsmith, the legendary creator of the bestselling tabletop game that CD Projekt Red has to thank for establishing the Cyberpunk setting in the first place.

He spent significant time discussing his inspirations for the Cyberpunk series, as well as his ample praise for what the Polish video game developer has brought to the table with Cyberpunk 2077.
Pondsmith also had plenty of positive thoughts about 2077's big-name celebrity voice actors. "The nicest guy on Earth is playing an incredible jerk," he declares regarding Reeves' tenure as Silverhand with visible glee. As for the casting, one does not simply ask Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba to come voice major characters for a video...
