Fortnite players are having a surprisingly good time with The Simpsons mini season, to the point where they want Springfield to a permanent inclusion or at least get more than a measly month.
After months of leaks and teases from Epic, yesterday saw the long-awaited arrival of Fortnite's mini season based on The Simpsons. Just like other smaller events before it, The Simpsons season isn't going to be sticking around for long, as Epic plans to move onto the next Chapter in just under a month from now.
While some Fortnite events actively have players waiting for it to end so that The Island can go back to normal (looking at you, Galactic Wars), it seems that The Simpsons is a different, far more positive story for once. Just like No Build long before it, fans are actually calling for Springfield to be a permanent fixture in the game.
Unlike most mini seasons, which just change the map up a little bit and theme it around whatever crossover it's involved with, The Simpsons has had a lot more love and effort put into its recreation of Springfield. Even if the map is a lot smaller than most Fortnite seasons,...
