If you've been getting some serious Telltale deja vu while playing Dispatch, there's a good reason for it. AdHoc was founded by industry veterans like Michael Choung and Pierre Shorette, and its debut superhero workplace comedy is spearheaded by directors Dennis Lenart, Chris Rebbert, and Nick Herman, who have an impressive portfolio spanning The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead.
So, it's only fitting that one fan, @TheCardinalArts, has taken the iconic Clementine and reimagined her as a Dispatch heroine, with Lee Everett at her side as her phantom mentor.
"Orphaned at 8 years old, Clem insisted the undead slaughtered her family. Of course, no one believed her," the description reads. "Save for one. Taken in by the disgraced occult professor Lee Everett, Clem studied the dark arts, desperate to understand her family's misfortune.
After his recent murder, Lee's spirit is often seen accompanying Clem.
"Sweetpea was a nickname granted to her by Lee, and it seems to have stuck. But she doesn't seem to mind. After his recent murder, Lee's spirit is often seen accompanying Clem on her quest for revenge. Even dead, Lee is an impressive combatant in his own right."
Of course, Dispatch's whole shtick is...
