The sentiment around Battlefield 6 changed drastically once season one launched. It had a very successful beta, with an even bigger launch. As Dice revealed, this entry returned to its roots, and fans were happy about it. However, the season one update brought along with it a robust and in-your-face monetization system that has made many fans feel betrayed, especially since it wasn't there at launch.

While the devs have been adjusting the bright skins, the original complaint about the maps being too small still haven't been addressed. Of course, adding new maps is much more complicated than adjusting colours on skins, but players are hoping Dice will announce a larger map soon. In the meantime, someone has compared maps from across the series to determine that Battlefield 6 has the small ones.
