On November 15th, Battlestate Games' Escape From Tarkov will finally release it's 1.0 version - that's just 11 days away! Or is it 3 months, and 11 days? The servers can't really tell, apparently.
Several players, including Twitch streamer Axel_TV, had their in-game progress rolled back with zero warning. Sharing the moment in a clip posted to X, Axel_TV shows off the damage done. Not long after the post went live, the devs became aware of it and implemented a fix.
And he wasn't alone. Today's rollbacks didn't affect everyone, but this wasn't an isolated case of one account getting randomly hit.
Battlestate Games released a brief statement on the matter, saying they're aware of the issue. Or at least, some issue. The post neither described the issue nor any fixes they hoped to make, and is shorter than the paragraph you just finished reading.
Those unnamed issues have been "resolved" per another post, though with so little information given it's hard to know what changed.
