Blizzard Finally Reveals How Overwatch 2's Cancelled PvE Storyline Ends

Overwatch 2 fans might probably never forgive Blizzard for the PvE mode debacle. It was one of the biggest selling points for the game, but it was constantly delayed and eventually cancelled after just one story mission. Unfortunately, we never got to see how things turned out, and the community just had to deal with it.

The one campaign mission we did get, ended on a cliffhanger, which was only resolved after two years via a comic book. We learned what happened after Widowmaker and Sombra delivered Zenyatta to Ramattra, but the rest of the planned story was revealed. It seems Blizzard has now wrapped it up in a short audio drama.

The video features lightly animated stills along with voiceovers by character actors to reveal what happens after the Null Sector is pushed back by Overwatch (thanks Kotaku). Of course, we all would have preferred the actual PvE episodes, but Blizzard instead gave us a powerpoint presentation two years later. At least we know what happens now.
