Remarkably, the game has been a runaway critical success, ranking among the best-reviewed games of the year, as well as the highest-reviewed multiplayer shooters in quite some time. It turns out that the rocky pre-release hype cycle was well worth it.
It should come as no surprise that we gave the game the highest praise possible.
As you can imagine, developer Embark Studios is hard at work on taking care of some of the game's fixes and hiccups, which they've done so with Patch 1.1.
