It's been a roller coaster ride for Company of Heroes 3 following its 2023 launch.
The Relic Entertainment RTS was met with positive reviews upon release, according to Open Critic, with most praising how the game managed to live up to the RTS franchise's reputation and deliver an enjoyable experience. Since then, however, fan reaction has been mixed at best.
To Relic's credit, they've been sticking true to their 2025 content roadmap, including two minor updates later this year that tackled balance tuning for multiplayer and introduced new maps and cosmetics. Still, fans are waiting for some major content updates. That roadmap teased something coming in Fall 2025, which is, of course, halfway over now that we're a week into November. One of those complaints from fans, at least according to recent Steam reviews, has been a lack of worthwhile content updates.
