While PlayStation, Xbox and even PC players are already racing through Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Switch 2 players are left at the pit stop for now, though that's changing before the year is over.
In a press release, SEGA confirmed that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released for the Switch 2 on December 4, 2025, which is a Thursday.
Alongside the release date, the game's pricing, different editions and even the Upgrade Pack details have been revealed too.

Gamers can expect the Digital Standard to be priced at the now-standard $69.99 price point for most AAA releases. Aside from the Digital Standard, there's also a Physical Standard edition that will contain the entire game on the cartridge. However, there's no release date for it, except for "early 2026."
