In an official statement shared on its website, Rockstar just confirmed that GTA 6 won’t be hitting its original (or rather, second) release window after all. Now, the highly anticipated title aims for a November 2026 launch.
According to the studio, the developers simply need more time to be able to deliver the level of quality and polish that everyone is expecting from a GTA title.
“We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait,” the message reads. “But these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”
