It seems that the delay saga this week isn’t over yet, since here comes another major title taking a step back after GTA 6’s – and this time it is the highly anticipated Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
The action-adventure title set in the World War II era with Captain America and Black Panther is no longer targeting its previously stated “early 2026” launch window, and currently has no new release date.
Skydance Pushes Its WWII Marvel Game Beyond Early 2026
According to an official statement shared on Skydance Games’ social media, the developers explained that their goal is to deliver an “unforgettable, premium game that honors its characters and worlds”, meaning the release date had to be pushed back.
“To fully realize our vision for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, we've made the decision to shift our release window beyond early 2026,” the statement reads.
However, the studio didn’t provide a new release target, which means the game currently has no launch window.
