On the surface, today's N7 Day announcement in celebration of all things Mass Effect came and went without much fanfare.
Executive Producer Mike Gamble confirmed that not only is the next Mass Effect game still in development, but also that the Amazon television series will take place after the original trilogy. We already know from casting announcements that we may be seeing some familiar faces along the way, but it's still nice to get some concrete information. Given the track record of Amazon's adaptations, such as Fallout and The Boys, the Mass Effect series should be in good hands.
However, that's not all the Mass Effect news from today, it seems, as some eagle-eyed readers, like my wife, for example, noticed something weird about the blog posts' formatting.
Certain words and letters were italicized even when they shouldn't have been. When it comes to game titles such as Mass Effect, that's expected per certain formatting guidelines. However, there were random letters, as well as "N7" itself, that were also in italics.
