Halo Infinite To Receive Its Last Major Update This Month

For four years, 343 Industries, now known as Halo Studios, has entertained millions of players worldwide with Halo Infinite's multiplayer and campaign as the developer's third mainline entry in the Halo series.

This period of time hasn't been without its bumps, however, as Halo Infinite saw the cancellation of its cinematic multiplayer narrative following Spartan-IV leaders Commander Laurette Agryna, Hieu Dinh, and Sigrid Eklund dealing with the threat of the Banished AI Iratus in 2023, with it only later coming to resolution in June 2025 through a Halo Waypoint Chronicle.

Despite such issues, Infinite's post-launch updates and multiplayer Operations kept players coming back for more, especially with the introduction of new and classic weapons and vehicles including:

Sadly, all great things must come to an end. As Halo Studios looks forward to developing new Halo titles, major updates for Halo Infinite's multiplayer will soon end with its upcoming Operation: Infinite.
