Fortnite's Sidekicks are already getting a lot of heat for how expensive they are with one-time customisation, but one fan has figured out that it'd cost over $17,000 to get every possible variant of the current Sidekicks.
When leakers first started reporting that Fortnite would be adding purchasable animal sidekicks, it sounded like an excellent idea. We've already had backbling pets in the past, and they went down a treat, so giving them a bit more to do and having them roam around with the player was surely a slam dunk.
That would be the case, if it weren't for how Epic has approached the monetisation of Sidekicks. Not only are they surprisingly expensive at 1,200 - 1,500 V-Bucks a pop, but they also can't have their appearance changed once you've locked it in.
