Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake Will Reportedly Launch Sometime In The Next Four Months

It's an open secret at this point that Ubisoft is working on an Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake, even if it hasn't been officially acknowledged. There have been countless rumours, leaks, and reports over the last two years, with Edward Kenway actor Matt Ryan even telling one fan that they might have to "beat it again" soon (which Ubisoft allegedly "threatened" to sue him over).

Assassin's Creed Hexe might be the next announced game, but it sounds like it won't be the one we're playing after Shadows.

However, after years of the rumour mill churning, the game is finally rearing its head. At least, according to a new Insider Gaming report, which alleges that the Black Flag remake will launch sometime before March 31, 2026.

Supporting its claim, in the delayed Ubisoft earnings report (which, as it turned out, had nothing to do with a looming acquisition - the company actually claims it did better than expected), it has an "unannounced title" set to release before the end of the fiscal year, i.e. before April. The only game not listed in that report is the Black Flag remake.
