We've known Silent Hill 2 Remake was coming to Xbox for a while thanks to leaks and rumors, with its unearthed store page even including a release date. That release date is today, and despite having no presence during Xbox's Partner Showcase and no mention of it in an official capacity from either Xbox or Konami, Silent Hill 2 Remake is available right now on Xbox Series X|S.
After not seeing it during Thursday's showcase, I was expecting to wake up this morning to messages from leakers revealing the rumored Xbox release date for the Silent Hill sequel had been moved. At the very least, I thought there'd be posts from Xbox and Konami celebrating the end of the iconic horror game's PS5 exclusivity.
