Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time Remake Is Finally Set To Release Next January, According To Insider

Prince of Persia: Sand of Time Remake has had a pretty rough journey from announcement to release, with its first reveal trailer coming over five years ago at this point. Ever since then, we've had a mixture of radio silence, vague updates from Ubisoft via its official Twitter account on quarterly earnings calls, and that's been about it. We haven't seen the game outside a CGI candle ever since its first trailer five years ago.

That could be about to change pretty soon though. Earlier this year, Ubisoft hinted in an earnings call that Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake would release this fiscal year, as it claimed it was going to include the game's net bookings. Combined with the game's already announced 2026 release window, that gave us a three-month gap in which the game would release. However, the release date has been narrowed even further if a new report is to be believed.

The report in question is from Insider Gaming, which has claimed that Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake is scheduled to launch before the heavily rumored Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remake, which itself is supposedly set to release in the next four...
