We now know which Pokémon will be featured in Pokémon GO's Community Day in June.
On Twitter, developer Niantic announced what the featured Pokémon for Community Day in June will be. The Pokémon will be the Dragon-type Gible. The event will take place on June 6th. No other information was given, though the tweet did say to stay tuned for more information. It can be assumed that Gible will appear more often on that day, with there being a chance to catch a Shiny one. It can also be assumed that players will have the chance to obtain a Garchomp with a special move.
May's Community Day will take place on May 15th. The featured Pokémon for that day will be Swablu. During the event, players will run into Swablu more often, and can run into a Shiny one. They can evolve their Swablu during the event in order to get an Altaria that will know the move Moonblast. Mega Altaria will also be making its Pokémon GO debut at the conclusion of May's Community Day. There will be a Community Day-exclusive Special Research story, entitled Cotton-Winged Bird, available during that day.
In other Pokémon news, it was recently announced that the Pokémon Sword and Shield manga will be translated into English this summer. The first volume of the manga will release on August 10th, and will cost $4.99. The series follows two protagonists: a boy named Henry and a girl named Casey. Both dream of competing in the Galar League, and will try to get Leon's approval to take on gyms in the first volume. Zacian and Zamazenta will play some role in the manga, as Henry is trying to learn more about the rusted Sword and Shield that are connected to the two legendries.
