Charlie Cox Is "Thrilled" About His TGA Nomination For Clair Obscur, But Says Gustave's Motion Capture Actor Deserves The Credit

Charlie Cox has recently reacted to his The Game Awards Best Performance nomination for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Gustave, noting that he's "thrilled" but that the motion capture actor Maxence Cazorla deserves as much credit.

From the moment that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launched right near the start of the year, it was clear to almost all of us that it was going to end up being the clear frontrunner at The Game Awards and pretty much every award show. Lo and behold, that's exactly what happened, with Clair getting tons of nominations across the board, including a whopping three spots in the Best Performance category.

One of those three Best Performance nominations has, unsurpisingly, gone to Charlie Cox, who voices the game's initial protagonist Gustave. Despite only recording lines for around four hours, Cox's performance as Gustave captured all of our hearts and has stuck with everyone for the whole year, leading to a nomination that Cox is "thrilled" to receive, even if he thinks another actor deserves as much credit.
