Pokemon Legends: Z-A's Mega Evolution reveals have been a roller coaster ride, but somehow, the one that fans have warmed up to the fastest is the simplest - Mega Starmie. Don't get too attached to the comical new addition to Pokemon's Mega Evolution line-up, though, as it turns out the big, goofy fan favorite might want to kill you.
Pokemon really has phoned in some of its latest Mega Evolution designs - they just stuck a little pair of wings on Dragonite's head and called it a day - but Mega Starmie might be the most phoned-in design of all. The only difference between Starmie and Mega Starmie is that the latter has long legs. It's that one difference that has resulted in Legends: Z-A players falling in love with it.
Mega Starmie uses those long legs to run around the battlefield. "Oh, look, isn't it adorable. It thinks it's people." Well, no, actually, it isn't adorable at all. It's actually quite terrifying once you scratch the surface. That's because, according to Mega Starmie's Pokedex entry in Legends: Z-A, it doesn't just think it's people, it might be actively trying to replace them.
