After the rousing success that was Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5 and later PC, there was no doubt that there would be a Stellar Blade 2. While it's unclear exactly when Stellar Blade 2 will release, Shift Up does anticipate dropping it before 2027, per an internal presentation.
Whenever it does launch, it's highly likely that the game will be multiplatform, meaning if there weren't already enough "gooners" as it is, then things are about to get way more depraved. As first spotted by Insider Gaming, via a recruitment post on Shift Up's website, Stellar Blade 2 is being developed as a "AAA multiplatform action game that expands upon the worldview of the company's global hit, Stellar Blade."
Sequels are often stronger in gaming, and Stellar Blade could be a massive beneficiary.
More specifically, per the post, the game is "aiming for release on various platforms, including consoles and PC. The game will inherit the original IP's stylish action and narrative-driven worldview from its predecessor, delivering an evolved action experience."
